Our Team

  • Mike Buccarelli

Co-founder of Camden Crawl, Mike brings experience and passion to the project. Working as an ESE Resource for Palm Beach County Schools since 2007, he found his calling in serving the special needs community. Meeting JR through volleyball in Deerfield Beach two decades ago, Mike's dedication to community service began early, including organizing pub crawls in Europe. Inspired by the unity these events fostered, he launched Camden Crawl in 2021 to support his friend and assist other families facing similar challenges. With a vision of expansion, Mike aims to extend the reach of Camden Crawl, touching more lives within his community.

  • Brenda Ryan

Co-founder of Camden Crawl, she ignites change with compassion and entrepreneurial drive. Since its 2021 inception, the event has blossomed under her leadership. Moving to Deerfield that same year, Brenda met Mike and the volleyball community, including JR, Lauren and Lisa. Witnessing their warmth firsthand, she was inspired by their spirit. She lent her services and helped catalyze the creation of a platform for good. As a medical device rep with a knack for marketing and design, Brenda's business savvy drives donations, amplifying the event's impact. Her love for connecting and volunteering fuels Camden Crawl's growth, offering vital support to the project that will hopefully grow into helping more families like Camden’s.

  • Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis joined the crawl in 2024 and assisted in bringing it to the next level. She is a dedicated mental health therapist and former special education teacher with 15 years of experience. Her journey with Camden Crawl was deeply influenced by her nearly two-decade-long friendship with JR and Lauren, during which she witnessed their unwavering love and support for their son Camden, who faces unique challenges. Lisa's understanding of the complexities faced by individuals with special needs, coupled with her passion for advocacy, led her to join Camden Crawl and use it as a platform for celebrating Camden’s life and hopefully extend the project beyond.
